Melanie Hooiman Director of Team management

PRIME Soccer Club is pleased to announce that Melanie Hooiman has joined our management team as the Club's first ever Director of Team Management. Melanie will be a valuable resource for the Club's team managers who play a vital role at PRIME SC.  Team managers are responsible for assisting with new player registration on TeamSnap and Gotsoccer, scheduling of practices and games, registration for leagues and tournaments, team communications, club communications, organizing team events, and other important team functions.

Melanie has been a team manager with PRIME SC for the past four seasons and grew up in Elko, Nevada, where she was a standout multi-sport athlete in high school. Speaking of standing - Mel is 5' 10, and that served her well as a talented volleyball player, who also excelled at basketball and softball.  

This mother of three athletes (well, Harper is two years old but has a beautiful first touch) is a busy woman who ran her own hair salon for several years prior to becoming the Director of Operations at College Promoters USA in Nevada, a hands on, personalizd college recruitment company that guides athletes from step one to signing day. 

You could easily say the Hooiman household specializes in sports.  Mel's son, Landon, who is 12, plays club soccer (center-mid for PRIME SC 2007 Boys CHS) and basketball.  Paige, who is 11, is the starting goalkeeper for PRIME SC 2009 Girls CCH, and Harper figures to be a ringer on PRIME SC 2017 Girls CCH.  Melanie is also married to her high school sweetheart, PRIME SC's Director of Operations, Chris Hooiman.
