Rogerio Promotion to Technical Director

Rogério Mendes has been elevated to PRIME Soccer Club's Technical Director!Rogério possesses a USSF National A License and boasts a wealth of coaching experience in Nevada, Southern California, Massachusetts and Portugal. He has coached at the youth level for the majority of his 22-year career with a focus on player and team development. His experience also spans professional, semi-professional, college levels, and the Olympic Development Program. Rogério is currently the head coach of the WPSL Las Vegas Legends Women's Pro Team.Rogério is also an instructor for the United States Soccer Federation in Nevada where he develops coaches through the Grassroots and National D Licensing courses. Rogério will assist Director of Coaching, Nelson Medina, in leading our club in its objective to further improve upon our coaches’ soccer acumen. “There are many clubs who claim to be player development focused, but upon closer look, you can often find a discrepancy between development and winning at almost all costs, which is what many clubs do. Unfortunately, this often comes at the expense of the player, and their development. PRIME SC, however, is balanced in that regard," Rogério stated.
